The Federation of International Walking Football Associations (FIWFA) is the international Governing Body for Walking Football and was formed in 2018 with the aim of promoting and developing the game of walking football throughout the world. Part of our remit was to organise international fixtures and tournaments between the walking football associations across the globe.

The inaugural FIWFA Walking Football World Nations Cup in 2023 is the culmination of our efforts.

International Walking Football

Who are we?

FIWFA walking football is the international governing body for Walking Football and is based in England. The prime roles of the organisation will be to promote and govern the sport world-wide, protecting its integrity and inclusivity, establish uniform laws of the game, and to organise international matches and tournaments. We will embrace the highest standards in best practice in our governance, transparency and accountability.

St George's Park, England August 2023

Host city is Derby and the fantastic playing venue.

All of the group games and the finals will be played at St George’s Park. This facility is the home of England’s National Football team. The playing surface (4G) and facilities at the stadium are first class.

Walking Football World Nations Cup

Register your nation’s interest in becoming one of the teams in the next World Nations Cup.

TEAMS

There will be a maximum of 40 teams in the tournament. 20 teams in the over 50s and 20 in the over 60s. You can enter a team in each age group or just one age group. No country or association can enter more than one team in any one age group.

PLAYER ELIGIBILITY

Please note that during the registration process we will require you to confirm player information on place of birth or minimum of 5 years residency. Evidence of a national selection process may also be requested. Maximum of three ex-professional players in any squad.
