Walking Football Coaching Course

Grassroots coaching for emerging walking football nations

In association with The Walking Football Association in the UK has introduced a grassroots coaching course aimed at nations that are new to walking football with the goal of helping those nations and associations run walking football in their territory.

We have run courses in France, Guernsey, Jersey, Wales, Rwanda, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia.

1 day course - 12 attendees

The one-day courses are limited to 12 attendees and introduce nations to the concept of walking football and how to best setup to play the game both nationally and internationally.

The course covers:

  • The WFA mission
  • Benefits of Walking Football
  • Qualities of a coach
  • Qualities of a player
  • Varieties of the game depending numbers, facilities etc
  • Essential Laws of the Game

Grassroots Walking Football Coaching Certificate

At the conclusion of the course all attendees are awarded a certificate to say they have attended the course and we offer continued telephone and email support following the course.

Costs: Per 1 day course: £500. Maximum trainees: 12
Certificates: Issued on completion of the course

Host country to fund all travel and accommodation for WFA coaches
