FIWFA has received glowing compliments from all the participating nations. With England continuing their dominance over 5 categories, only France stopped a clean sweep of winning Trophies.
The exhibition games proved a huge success with England Parkinsons and England Kicking Cancer showcasing their talents and determination to play, regardless of impairments.
With over 80 matches streamed live via the excellent VEO platform, the unique sport of Walking Football was seen at its best with viewers from around the world, hopefully encouraging even greater participation, prolonging, enhancing and saving lives.
The next WNC in 2027 will provisionally be held in either Italy or France, and the possibility of holding a European Nations Cup in 2026 is also being explored.
